The Information Presentation Section designs and develops software to allow weather forecasters to display and interpret meteorological data, and to efficiently monitor and control the functions of the ingest and display systems. The main focus areas in FY2006 are work on AWIPS Builds OB6 and OB7, continuing development and testing of advanced system designs and collaborative tools, and development and support work for the Air Force Range Standardization and Automation (RSA) program.
