Assessment
    Looked at startup scripts
    Examined all cron jobs
    Ported to linux (ad hoc, no show stoppers, add'l testing may be required)
    Input/output data sets

Need to run each process with the "strace" command to verify what files are opened/closed
Need to get a profile of metrics

All processes have had ad-hoc testing on linux but require more rigorous testing for the complete linux port.
