Product Selection Menus for Snow Fall Products

In OB6, six snow fall radar products have been added to the suite of
radar products. As the product selector menus in the RPS List Editor,
One Time Request (OTR) and Radar Multiple Request
(RMR)applications are getting lengthy, especially with the addition of
the snow products, these menus have been redesigned. This UIWG
evaluated these menu changes and the radar application GUIs for the
snowfall products
Xiangboa presented the product selection options for the RPS List
Editor, OTR and RMR. In each section below, are the changes that have
been suggested based on the UIWG.
In addition to the material presented above, Jim Ramer presented
the placement of the snowfall within the radar menus.
RPS List Editor
Action Items:
- Remove the User Selectable Snowfall products for the list of
products eligible for the RPS List.
Below are the resultant Product Selection options for the RPS List
Editor:
One Time Request (OTR)
Action Items:
- Move Window Products to the bottom of the list.
- Rename 'Window Products' to 'Severe Weather Analysis'
- Place Precipitation Products in a pull right menu
- Place Snowfall Products in a pull right menu

SWA Products
It was agreed to make the SWA (window) products less prominent. They
will now be located under the kxxx 4 Bit Prods menu:
