Refer to Exhibit 2.1.6.1-1 for a display of this menu. • Select User ID...: The User ID identifies you as the current user of the AWIPS workstation, giving you access to your personal procedures and color tables. Selecting this File option brings up a dialog box that allows this identification. Each site has its own list of User IDs. • Procedures: Procedures enable you to define and customize a sequence of routinely used products or products used for a particular forecast problem. Refer to Section 2.5 Procedures for more information. |

• History List (Ctrl + h): A history list is a recall list of all the products loaded to the large display pane since the last restart of the workstation. Products in the history list are used to build Procedures. The history list can be opened with the "Ctrl + h" Accelerator Keys on the keyboard. Refer to Section 2.5 Procedures for more information.
• Print... (Ctrl + p): This option sends everything currently visible in the large display pane to the default printer. The Print Dialog Box can be opened with the "Ctrl + p" Accelerator Keys on the keyboard. Refer to Exhibit 2.1.6.1-2.

To change the destination printer from the default (lp1), type the desired printer name in the Printer data entry field. Use lp2 for the color printer and lp3 (RFCs only) for the high-speed printer.
These print options should be familiar to most computer users. The Print Icon Button on the Toolbar is also used for default printing. Refer to Section 2.1.7 The Toolbar for further details.
• Capture Window... : This menu option allows you to create screen shots (in PNG format) of objects contained in a framed window. Once you choose this option, the Window Capture Dialog Box, shown in Exhibit 2.1.6.1-3, appears and requires you to enter a filename.

Once you type in a unique file name, press the Go Menu Button and the mouse cursor becomes a crosshair cursor. Simply click on the desired window and wait a moment for the Window Capture Message Box, shown in Exhibit 2.1.6.1-4, to appear confirming that the screen capture is complete, as well as where your file can be found.

• Exit... (Alt + F4): Shuts down the D2D workspace. You can also use the "Alt + F4" Accelerator Keys to exit.
When you choose this option, a dialog box appears in the center of the display screen and asks you to confirm that you really want to quit.
