Maps

Refer to Exhibit 2.1.6.12-1 for a display of this menu.

This menu option, which varies from site to site, lets you choose one or more map backgrounds for the displayed product. Choices from this menu are dependent on the selected scale and site location. The User Shape File option at the bottom of the menu allows access to site-provided Shape files. The addition of site-provided shape files to AWIPS is documented in the AWIPS System Manager's Manual.

Help

The Help Pull-Down Menu, shown in Exhibit 2.1.6.12-2, contains a check button that enables/disables the Tooltips.
