The View pull-down menu, shown in Exhibit 2.1.6.2-1, contains nine options that control the display layout and product animation. All, except the Toolbar option, have corresponding Icon Buttons in the second row of menu options called the Toolbar. Refer to Section 2.1.7 The Toolbar for additional information on toolbar options. • Clear (Ctrl + c): This option clears the large display pane but retains the map background. You can also use the "Ctrl + c" Accelerator Keys to clear the large display pane, or the Clear button in the Toolbar. • Step Back (Left Arrow): This menu option reverses the displayed data by one frame. You can also use the "Left Arrow" Accelerator Key to step back, or use the "<" Icon Button in the Toolbar. • Step Forward (Right Arrow): This menu option advances the displayed data by one frame. You can also use the "Right Arrow" Accelerator Key to step forward, or use the ">" Icon Button in the Toolbar. |

• First Frame (Ctrl + Left Arrow): This option displays the first frame of available data. You can also use the "Ctrl + Left Arrow" Accelerator Key or the "|<<" Icon Button in the Toolbar.
• Last Frame (Ctrl + Right Arrow): This option displays the last frame of available data. You can also use "Ctrl + Right Arrow" Accelerator Key or the ">>|" Icon Button in the Toolbar.
• Looping: This check button enables/disables animation. You can also use the Loop Properties Dialog Box or the Loop Icon Button in the Toolbar.
• Default Pane Layout: This menu option arranges the display with one large display pane on the right side of the workstation display and four small (monitor) panes of equal size along the left side of the display. You can also set the display to the default (five-pane) layout by clicking the Default (five-pane) Icon Button in the Toolbar. Refer to Exhibit 2.1.6.2-2 for an example.

• Three-Pane Layout: Refer to Exhibit 2.1.6.2-3. This option arranges the display to have one large display pane and two medium-sized panes along the left side of the display. You can also set the display to the three-pane layout by clicking the Three-Pane Icon Button in the Toolbar. Notice that two of the four original monitor panes are greatly reduced in size but can still display data. To conserve memory, animation is disabled in these tiny panes. But once these panes are enlarged, the memory allocation is restored.

• Toolbar: This check button option enables/disables the Toolbar, the second row of options along the top of the display. You can hide the Toolbar if you need more viewing space in the display panes. All the controls in the Toolbar are redundantly placed in the View and Options pull-down menus so that you can perform all Toolbar actions without the Toolbar.
• Resizing Panes: It is possible to resize each D2D window pane. The white pane borders are adjusted by pressing on them with Mouse Button 1 and dragging them to the desired new size. There are size limitations for the large display and small panes. The data on some scales have predefined projections, so they may not always fill a resized pane.
