One charter of RPP is to understand the decision support methodology, to answer the questions: How will this new approach, web based dissemination, work in the field? How will the software be used? How can we design the software to be most useful and intuitive?
Of course, the decision support process will vary with each site, emergency manager, and situation. Our goal is to describe a few possible scenarios as a way to gain understanding. These ideas can also help someone get started who is new to the EMDS and web based decision support. We hope that this page will serve as a repository for methodology ideas. How are the emergency managers using the EMDS locally?
