Note new selector in upper right of Product type area. We will refer to this as the followup action list.

Example of followup action list for SVS.

This shows an example of what the followup action list look like in the case of having selected a Severe Weather Statement where there is a mixure of SVRs and TORs that can be followed up. Note that CON means continue and CAN means cancel. The EXP choice means issue an expiration message, which in the current implementation is mutually exculsive of the CON/CAN options.

Result of choosing to continue an SVR.

Note that the times and the box are uneditable; only the track can be changed. The pathcast and Other cities list bullets respond to the state in the original SVR, the rest are always off to start with. In the cancel case there will currently be no call to actions available.

Example of combined FFW/SVR in followup action list.

This example is the result of choosing the Flash Flood Statement and having a combined flash flood/severe thunderstorm warning in effect. The action type CA2 means cancel the SVR but continue the FFW.

New default product selection list for warnGen.

This is the new default product selection list for warnGen. Note that local severe weather followups, plus the template for the combined FFW/SVR are all at the very top. This capability does work for Special Marine Warnings and the Marine Weather Statement product that is the followup for those. Those would also be near the top of the list for a site with marine responsibility.

Followup action list for invoking REISSUE capability.

For a the local warning products SVRs, TORs, FFWs, and SMWs, one can initialize a new warning based on an previous warning. This is different than the followup because this results in a completely new warning, with its own new VTEC number. The polygon and times are still editable in this case.
